Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship Tournament 2005 Opponent Deck FAQ
This is a FAQ for Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship Tournament 2005. It covers the Decks of the most powerful Duelists in this game and these Decks can only be used (if you want to copy the opponent's Deck) in the Mystic Land, which you will unlock after you have completed the game. If you try to use these Decks in Battle City, Mokuba will stop you, because these Decks will contain many forbidden cards. As for the other Decks, I didn't bother to get them because they are weak and most of them can be found in a Card Shop.
Here is the Deck of the game's most powerful Duelist (like always), Yami Yugi. His Deck is similar to World Championship 2004, but has a few modifications.
Yami Yugi's Deck (43 Cards) Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning Call of the Haunted Card Destruction Change of Heart x2 Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the Beginning Cyber Jar Dark Hole Dark Magic Ritual Dark Magician x3 Dark Magician Girl Dunames Dark Witch x3 Fairy Box Graceful Charity Harpie's Feather Duster Heavy Storm Jinzo Magic Cylinder Magic Jammer x2 Magician of Black Chaos Mirror Force Monster Reborn x2 Pot of Greed Premature Burial Raigeki Seven Tools of the Bandit x2 Slate Warrior x3 Snatch Steal Soul of Purity and Light x3 Summoned Skull x2 Swords of Revealing Light
Here is the Deck of the game's 2nd most powerful Duelist, and you won't believe this, Yami Bakura! His Deck is a huge improvement over World Championship Tournament 2004 and is one of the most advanced Burner(life-point reducing) Decks I have ever seen in my whole life!
Yami Bakura's Deck (47 Cards)
Airknight Parshath x3 Big Bang Shot x3 Blast Sphere x3 Dark Driceratops x3 Graceful Charity x3 Mage Power x3 Magic Cylinder x3 Maha Vailo x3 Mirror Force x3 Monster Reborn x3 Pot of Greed x3 Raigeki x3 Ring of Destruction x3 Shinato's Ark x2 Spear Dragon x3 United We Stand x3
NOTE: The only thing I don't understand about Yami Bakura's Deck is that it has two Shinato Ark cards, but no Shinato! I guess Konami must have made an error in the game, so I would recommend adding about 2 Shinato, King of a Higher Plane cards to Yami Bakura's Deck.
Here's the Deck of the game's 3rd most powerful Duelist, Marik. His Deck is not very good on the defensive, but is excellent on the offensive and is definitely good for obliterating Exodia the Forbidden One!
Marik's Deck (42 Cards) Banisher of the Light x3 Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning x3 Card Destruction x3 Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End x3 Dark Hole x3 Graceful Charity x3 Mage Power x3 Mirror Force x3 Pot of Greed x3 Raigeki x3 Summoned Skull x3 Torrential Tribute x3 United We Stand x3 Upstart Goblin x3
NOTE: If you plan on using Marik's Deck, carefully use this Deck. For example, if you use all of your 3 Pot of Greed, Graceful Charity, and Upstart Goblin Spell Cards, and then activate a Card Destruction, chances are you could easily get yourself Decked and lose the Duel. It would be wise to use all of the 3 Pot of Greed, Graceful Charity, and Upstart Goblin cards, Special Summon a Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End, and then activate its effect once you have plenty of cards in your hand.
Finally, here's the Deck of the game's 4th most powerful Duelist, Grandpa. His Deck will easily score you some excellent Duelist Points when you summon Exodia the Forbidden One in the Mystic Land!
Grandpa's Deck (40 Cards) Card Destruction x3 Dark Hole x3 Exodia the Forbidden One Fiber Jar x2 Graceful Charity x3 Jar of Greed x3 Jar Robber x3 Left Arm of the Forbidden One Left Leg of the Forbidden One Morphing Jar x3 Pot of Greed x3 Right Arm of the Forbidden One Right Leg of the Forbidden One Sangan x3 Skelengel x3 Upstart Goblin x3 Witch of the Black Forest x3
NOTE: Another problem with this Deck (as well as Yami Bakura) is that I don't know why Konami included cards such as Card Destruction and Morphing Jar. I can understand having Jar Robber in this Deck, but some of the Duelists in this game barely use Pot of Greed in a Duel, so don't count on using Jar Robber too much. You can definitely count on using Jar Robber, only if you Duel Yami Bakura, Rare Hunter, and other Duelists in the Mystic Land, for they use 3 Pot of Greed cards.
As I said earlier, you can only use these advanced Decks in the Mystic Land, which you can unlock by beating the Weekend Tournament, Sugoroku Tournament, K.C. Tournament, Qs of K, Limitation Tournament, and Championship Tournament. Once you have done this, there will be a cut-scene of Yami Yugi, Yami Bakura, and Marik. After the cut-scene, continue your game and you will have unlocked the Mystic Land, which will be labeled as ??? on the game's map.
If you want to score some easy Duelist Points, then go to the Mystic Land and try to summon Exodia the Forbidden One with Grandpa's Deck. Now, here is the reward for summoning Exodia the Forbidden One in the Mystic Land: Summon Exodia the Forbidden One on the 1st turn in the Mystic Land: Receive 50,000 DP Summon Exodia the Forbidden One on the 2nd turn in the Mystic Land: Receive 25,000 DP Summon Exodia the Forbidden One on the 3rd or 4th turn in the Mystic Land: Receive 10,000 DP Summon Exodia the Forbidden One on the 5th or higher turn in the Mystic Land: Receive 5,000 DP
Don't take too long to summon Exodia the Forbidden One in the Mystic Land, or else your Duelist Points will get divided in half just like in Battle City.
