Okay, I'm back into the deck built up thing andthe wi-fi duelist record check ups now. I recently search the web including Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia and found what I was looking for. Like some topics of "Hopeless Dragon" they are all part of decks other players uses in regional tournament and thanks to the game of Stardust Accelerator we can play with these cards ourselves.
Top 1 - Lightswon Meta
- The way this deck works is with Judgement Nuke and card like Exodius to summon Wulf, or Honest as back up support. Cards like Beckoning serves a heavy artillery roles for this type of deck and some cards in this deck may hit the new ban list soon.
Top 2 - Gladiator Beast Tag
- I know 08 left a bad impression of Glads deck, and didn't even fit the standard of ok deck. But with the release of 09 players are now running Glads swap with Rescue Cat with Test Tiger and Samnite. This deck also works strongly with Cold Wave and Gyzarus as their end game moves. Perfect on maintaining field control.
Top 3 - TeleDAD
- I've searched high and low for this deck, since most players think it's dead. But there is a new Tele-DAD which works with Dark Worlds that is hitting the TCG. Fast Hand and quick Sp S and quick synchro summoned as well. The strategy haven't changed and it's still the Tele-DAD you used to know but it's just wont work well if focused on Assault ModeStardust combo.
Top 4 - Monarch
- These guys still stand up front no matter how much you may hate them. Players are running 6 Monarch which follows as Caius, Mobius, and Raiza (2x). Best combo of this is with Ultimate Offering to tribute during your opponent's battlephase to gain effect of destruction. Still the various cards used for it are Treeborn Frog, Dandylion, and now Plaguespreader Zombie, so don't missed it this deck is extremely powerful.
Top 5 - Gadgets
Love them or hate them because they are my personal favorite. Works of hand maintenance and destruction balance. This deck have taken out even Monarch back in 08 and have lasted me 3 years in using it on CPU opponents and wi-fi duelist or other duel programs such as KCVDS and Game King Online. It was bound to happen that I would not be the only one to master them but others as well. Works best on Oppression side on any decks except itself.
Top 6 - STUN/Anti-Meta
- After the infamous of Lightsworn Meta and the Glads Tag of various tourney encounter, people are running this anti-meta deck specifically for these types of decks. It works with Oppression combos with Thunder King Rai-Oh! and cards like Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo. This deck has a high winning percentage on any decks that evolves Graveyard discard or Synchro Summoned as well as Special Summoned.
Top 7 - Blackwind
- This deck starts being famous because of 2 things. One is Dark Simorg which works with wind Type and a Dark Type. 2 is because of Blackwind - Gale of the Whirlwind. This card just half any monsters you selected and can be good to take out even a mighty Stardust Accelerator or something annoying with another monster such as Blackwind since they can be special summoned when another is on the field. As I've checked online I found over 10 people using the Pegasus combo with Falcon of Mist Valley return and recycle loop with Icarus for destruction.
Top 8 - Plants.
-This decks works around with various cards that aren't plant mainly to summoned Black Rose Dragon and destroy the field spell card of Geartownfor overpowered brute force combo. Card that are used is this deck are Montage Dragon, Lonefire Blossom, Tatannial PoC. Thisdeck is the true king of powers and can over powered a Glads deck at any time but less people are using it so it hits the low rate of this list. Also by having two or more Lonefire to summon a Black Rose if you don't have a Gear Down on the field you can either chose an equip cardfor control like "Mark of the Rose" or reduce the opposing player's monster.
Top 9 - Macros Cosmo
-This deck have had over many forms throughout its year and was once top 3 in 2007 when Perfect Cycle was around but now really hit the bottom rate. It's used with Stratos to get Wildheart and various DD to remove from plays. But the main strategy of this deck is to have DD Survivor as infinite loop of destruction and tribute for Monarch or activate instant kill cards such as Fissure Lightning, and others.
The best 15 extra cards are
Chimeratech Fortress Dragon - Used at least one for Gadget users who leave a free Cyber and another machine out in the open.
Ally of Justice - Catastor (2x) - perfect on killing all except dark and is a good starting LV 5 synchro monster.
Black Rose Dragon - deadly and devastating just need that single copy for one turn if you plan on summoning it.
Brionac, DotIB - This is used for final attack or onslaught damage to clear the field with all your monsters and direct atk your opponent.
Dark End Dragon- Notice on some cards their effect activated when they are destroyed but this card just send them to the grave. So cards that areinvulnerable of destruction will still be killed.
Dark Strike Fighter - another catapult launcher and is good for quick finish
Goyo Guardian - Good on controlling your opponent monster and has 2800 for a lv 6 synchro summon which is way too good.
Mist Wurm - As a high Lv synchro monster this card stand above with a nice effect that returns 3 cards from your opponent should you ever need to synchrosummoned for higher lv.
Naturia Beast - Although it may need an Earth Monster but it's the next Dark Balter Fusion that negates spell activation and can be pretty heavy when anopponent plays it.
Red Dragon Archfiend - Perfect on clearing out def basis and can have your other monsters to attack with.
Stardust Dragon (2x) - this card is just too good but sometimes can be dead quick so in case you want to bring the same pain you might as well run 2 copies becauseit even stops "Bottomless Trap Hole"
Though Ruler Archfiend - if you are desperate and think your opponent will singelly counter you with a PWWB then you need this. cant be brain controled or any cards that target singlely and is very strong with 2700 attack. also it gives you LP bonus so either desperate situation works.
X-Saber Urbellum - Works with return hand and can give you "1up" game from your opponent if they have more than 4 cards in their hands
.
Back in 2006 and its years of lesser cards players used to run Metamorphisms and have various fusions with different effects and support basis. TheTop fusions of these cards used to be: Alkana Knight Joker, Alligator's Sword Dragon, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Cyber Blader, Cyber End Dragon, Cyber Ogre 2, Cyber Twin Dragon, Dark Balter tT, Dark Blade tDK, Fiend Skull Dragon, Gatling Dragon, King Dragun, Ojama King, Reaper otN, Ryu Senshi, The Last Warrior (cards that I added later on was Chimeratech Fortress Dragon, and Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill). This explains why my fusion deck in 08 usually contain 19 cards.
Also in any synchro decks beside plants you either run Rescue Cat with Sea Koala and X-Saber Airbellum or Blackwind tunner monsters for synchro summoned. Other synchro are use with Debris Dragon for Black Rose basis and Psychic Tunning which sometimes used for Tele-DAD or a pure psychic deck.
You can either read and understand the brief TCG decks that can be made from Stardust and are out that players are ODing on, or you can lay back and still trying to figure out the purposes oft hese decks. Rather than to have 1 or 3 strong person in this forum, I thought it would be fun to have 5 or 8 meta players here. The leas ttier decks such as Hopeless Dragon and others will be posted sometimesin the future when I further my research on their timing periods and why they aren't as meta, anti-meta or staple as they used to be.
